Silver-awarded Cava Brut from the Casa Safra winery

We have added a sparkling wine to our assortment, the straw-pure Cava Brut from the Casa Safra winery, which this year won silver in the Berliner Wein Trophy competition! The aroma contains notes of citrus, apple, nuts and almonds. The fresh and fruity taste stands out with explosive notes of citrus fruits and limes. Delicate Cava has a fine foam, a long, fresh and sparkling finish.

Casa Safra winery

The Casa Safra winery was founded in the city of Alicante, 100 km south of Valencia. Today it owns several vineyards throughout Spain and is one of the most prestigious wineries in the country. Grape selection and harvesting is still largely done by hand to ensure the highest quality.

TO Penedès

Cava sparkling wine has been produced in the Spanish wine region of Penedès since 1872. This region produces more than 95% of all Cava and is rightly considered one of the most important wine regions in the world for  the production of sparkling wines. The Casa Safra winery has access to a small and specific vineyard that produces wonderful Cava from the Garnatxa, Monastrell, Trepat, Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Perellada varieties. The grapes are carefully harvested by experienced hands to guarantee optimum quality. Beautiful Cavs are the result of this sensitive care!
